According to Wikipedia a Calla is “…is very poisonous when fresh due to its high oxalic acid content, but the rhizome … is edible after drying, grinding, leaching and boiling…”
Well, for me it is just a beautiful flower, and I’d rather have it on the table than on the plate!
Both the backlighting and black & white processing helped to reveal the delicate details of this flower…
